Intense Powered Home Subwoofers
I am running a Dayton SA1000 Subwoofers Amp 1000W into 4 ohm. I have these 4 Audiobahn AW1204M Mounted in dual 12" slot loaded enclosures. Running the 4 drivers only allowed a 8 ohm configuration making my amp drop to 500W. My enclosures are placed on corners of the room. Sound better that a $3500. Martin Logan A/B comparison. Total cost project under $900. Thanks for the exceptional buy Sonic.......

Dont't push them
I had high hopes for these subs. I bought two of these and powered them by an MTX TD1000.1D and those subs did sound great and moved a lot and hit very hard but they don't like being pushed to there RMS max. These only lasted a few days before they started having problems and finally completely cooking out. Only buy these if you don't planing on jamming out all the time because if you do they will blow. I would not recommend these subs they just don't have the power handling ability they should.

They can't handle their nominal RMS power
I bought one of these because I read good reviews somewhere else.
Well, unfortunately, those were wrong, at least in my case.
I connected this sub to a Sony amp that provides 600RMS @ 2 ohms, or so they say (I doubt it actually has 100% efficiency, but whatever).
The sub does indeed kick hard, but if you sustain this level for more than 15 minutes it will just burn and die... Too bad 'cause it sounded great while it lasted
