WOW!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I plugged two of the four subs I bought to a MMATS 3500.1 and wasn't to pleased. Then they started to loosen up and slam!!! I have them in a 4.0cuft ported box and couldn't believe a sub this cheap could produce this type of sound. Would and might buy these for myself as I bought these to put in my friends car. The amp puts out 2700 real watts at 1 ohm and they took it. I have experience with the jl audio 10w7(2) an audioque 12" hdc and a pierce audio products wmd. I would take these 2 subs over those 3 I just mentioned but the wmd2 has more SPL. I recommend these to everyone! One of the reviews I read about the sub said this compares to a 12w6v2 and it didn't lie.

WHAT A SPEAKER COMBO!

I added a complete system to my BMW 525I using all Phoenix Gold speakers and absolutely love it, what an awesome product. This company I ordered it from was the best I've had the pleasure of doing business with. Great Sub

Just got this sub last week and its definitely awesome. Easily compares to the type r like the guy mentioned down below. The difference between the type r and this sub is, the fact that this sub blows the type r away when it comes to the lows. I only have one of these subs running off of my 600 rms alpine amp (mrp-m650) and it is ported tuned to 30 hz and it shakes the crap out of my seats. Especially on the song "Get Low" by lil jon. For 40 bucks, this sub is an absolute steal! Also already mentioned by the guy below, this sub needs at least 400 rms. Even at the 400 rms it laughs at you and begs for more. Handles 600 rms just fine. Sonic has it mislabeled for 350 rms. The manual says 500. Well anyways, great subwoofer. Great price. Get it!

This subwoofer pounds very, very hard I have it hooked to a Hifonics 1610D and it takes everything the amp is throwing. Recommend this sub to anybody wanting to go loud for a great price!

Great deal and greater sub

Recently brought two of these from here and I am more than satisfied. Right now the price for these is unbelievable at $39.99 as the sub is worth over $100. Get them now while they are this cheap. This sub is well constructed and attractive too. It pounds in either a vented or sealed box. I listen to pop, rock, hip-hop, and RnB music and it sounds good at which either. This is a true SQ sub that can also pound your chest much like the type r which this Rsd12d compares favorably too. This is a 5* sub and easily the best deal on such a sub as you could have found this year. I own RE, Alpine, Hifonics, and Powerbass subs. This Phoenix Gold belongs with them. Also I recommend giving this sub between 400-500 watts. It doesn't like anything less.

Holy Cow!!

At 39.99 a piece this is one heck of a bargain. I first had the subs(2) in a 1.25 cu ft sealed box each and they hit pretty good with 1000 RMS watts. Not a lot of SPL but more sq but they hit the lows with authority with very little distortion. That was my setup for about 3 weeks. I recently had a 2 cu ft per sub vented (shared chamber) box tuned at 32hz built and wow is not a good enough word to describe the sound. Let me put it this way I had a previous system worth about 3 grand and the lows are on the same level but not as deep (w7s). At high volumes there's a slight hint of distortion but these subs just keep banging. Great job PG! Thanks Sonic!!!
