Great amp but not stable @ 1ohm
I was floating between 0.8 and 1.3 ohms and I didn't know that this amp isn't stable at anything below 2 ohms, it kept cutting out at medium volume, and I couldn't figure out why until I tested and then it made sense.

Lean Mean Hittin Machine
I had an MTX Thunder 2000/1000 on my Kicker L7 4ohm dvc @ 2ohm and the amp ran hott!! I tuned it down a bit and still over heated, partially because of placement in my van. I got this amp from B*** B** for quite a bit more but, hits a bit harder, 2/3 the size of the old amp and it has run hot on a few occasions of continious abuse (daily driver '1-3 hour sessions' around 100 mi a day) I dont run on full volume (35 plus vol offset 8 'would be 43) but typically loudest is 30 on my kenwood headunit normal around 22-26. Ported box @ 1000 rms (recomended only 750w rms) Great amp tho and when it runs hot it cools down after turn off in around 30 min

good amp
Its under rated. Good amp, a lot of power and never ran hot. I read some reviews that the amp ran hot i think they need to check all their connections to it because its a real good amp.

Waste No more time
I definetly recommend this amp. You get all the power in a small size and a small price. Never pass a steal like this!

i was upset...but....
I got this amp to replace an Audiopipe apsm1300, i had it at 2ohm for 600wrms. My sub is an mb quart pwe354 @2ohms, this sub is 800wrms, so i wanted to give it atleast 1000wrms. I got the kicker, when i first hooked it up it did not even move the sub. I was UPSET! I had to jack the gain to 10 out of 11 to even hear the sub, i knew some subs have a break-in period but not amps... the next day after ensuring everything was hooked up right and having kicker rep say take it back, this thing KICKS!! I looked inside to make sure amp was ok, and it looks goood. I still have amp gain almost maxxed out, but i use the remote bass knob. It blends well with the factory installed boston acoustic system in my 08 dodge caliber, makes that 15" mb sound great. Yes, if you need a thousand watts and need it to be small, get this amp. Period. I thought I might need to replace it with another amp, but I am gonna keep the Kicker.

Sweet Box
Great sub for when you need bass in a tight spot. We installed two of these under the seats/storage areas of a 2013 Malibu 23' Wakesetter to give a little added bass hit and they worked out great! We drove the pair of these boxes with a Kicker 1000 watt Mono Amp and they hit hard and sound good. Very tight sealed box, bass that is accurate.
