This thing is a "must have". I am SO glad that I purchased it. I have been waiting for months to get this. When it became available again I had to snatch it up...LOL. I haven't used all of it's features yet. The main thing that i wanted it for was the power reading feature and also its ability to read frequency and impedance at the same time. It's easy to operate and I also like the 9V battery status feature upon start up. No guessing if the battery is dead or any good. It lets you know from the start. I must say that for the average person who doesn't know the difference between resistive power ratings and a reactive load...they might get there feelings hurt a little bit when the AMM-1 reveals what their amplifier is actually doing. Don't think twice or hesitate about buying it. Get it while it is available.

All The features that the AMM-1 offers, help you make your system 10 times better. From measuring the voltage drop between all your components to the actual box rise of your sub in your box. It has helped me get the most out of my system with the peace of mind that every component puts out its max clean signal. A must have for anyone serious about car audio

Quite the useful tool.
Been wanting one of these for a while to Dyno some amps I have. It's nice to be able to Dyno an amp in a real-world setting wired to a reactive load with impedance rise and less than ideal electrical to see what you're really getting. That said, this tool will break some hearts. Just like with an SPL meter, it's going to show you you're not at what you think you are.
It's pretty straightforward to use, but there are a couple things that would've been nice. The battery door doesn't seem to like to open smoothly and I just feel it's bound to break one of these days when I go to install/remove the battery. And the connector to the battery itself seems like a weak point as well.
Lastly, I kinda wish it'd have had a clamping feature so you could more easily run a wire through it.
