The DEH-X6700BS CD receiver features Pioneer's MIXTRAX technology, built-in Bluetooth for hands-free calling and audio streaming, SiriusXM-Ready, USB direct control of an iPod or iPhone, USB access to music on Android devices (4.0 or later), and Pandora for both iPhone and Android. In addition to an updated cosmetic design, model year 2014 CD receivers include updated feature enhancements like Bluetooth USB pairing and Siri Eyes Free voice recognition compatiblity (for iPhone 4s or later).
The Pioneer DEH-X6700BS's built-in Bluetooth allows you to make hands-free calls and stream your music via A2DP audio streaming. No more wires cluttering up your dash to listen to your music, or uncomfortable Bluetooth headsets required. Life just became a little easier.
The Pioneer DEH-X6700BS's allows the user to control Pandora Internet Radio directly for the headunit. Now you can listen to your favorite Pandora stations anytime you want using Pandora Station Creation.
The Pioneer DEH-X6700BS's comes SiriusXm Satellite Radio ready. With the purchase of the SiriusXM Radio Package you can listen to all of your favorite SiriusXM radio stations. Additional SiriusXm subscription fees may apply.
The Pioneer DEH-X6700BS features Android Media Transfer Protocol. When streaming music you'll be able to see song names and track tiles on the headunit's display. That means no more having to look at your phone to play that special song.
If you have an Apple device such as an iPhone or iPod the Pioneer DEH-X6700BS has you covered. When connected to the headunit you can use to make calls and play music. You have 2-way control through your headunit. This gives you more time to focus on the road.
The Pioneer DEH-X6700BS allows the use of Universal Steering Wheel Controllers. The user can program the aftermarket steering wheel controller to work with their vehicles steering wheel controls. This allows you to spend more time looking at the road.

Couldn't be happier
I put off replacing the stock stereo in my F150 in fear of a few things, one being I'm not a car/audio tech by any means, second was cost (had not shopped for stereos in a very long time) plus cost of installation and finally not much experience with all the media features (Bluetooth, streaming music and so on). Well this turned out to be one of my best purchases for the year. It had wonderful reviews, lots of features I wanted, easy to use (took a little while to get used to it, stock was a CD/receiver), it is incredibly affordable and it sounds WAY better than the previous unit, and to top off the experience my friend installed it professionally for next to nothing. Sorry this review does not compare to any audiophile write ups but from the stand point of a basic consumer this was an awesome purchase for the money

my city law requires a hand's free device . my new pioneer super tuner is ausom !! the blue tooth works better than the stock one in a 2015 ford that impresses me it takes over as soon as I turn on key , I get 5 to 10 calls while driving a day it ring's my stereo tells me who it is I push button I talk super safe at a real good price .one ticket would pay for 2 units it is a no brainer bye this one!!! now for the rest of this unit fantastic music and sound , I still don't know all this dose it dose more than I will ever need !! I LOVE MY PIONEER DEH-X6700BS
