The ASA1200.2X Power Bass Amplifier is a part of the ASA Series, designed to be distortion-free with efficiency. The MOSFET power supply provides clean, distortion free power as efficiently as possible. The sleek look is due in part to the ribbed heatsink which disperses heat away from the amp and power supply in order to run the amp more efficiently. The great part about the ASA1200.2X is the power and ability to control it the way you want. The ASA1200.2X has a low and high pass filter, selectable crossover mode, selectable subsonic filter and a variable bass boost that goes from 0 to +18 dB @ 40 Hz. You have the option to bridge the 2-channels for a massive 1200W RMS output. If you are thinking of even more power, the ASA1200.2X can be daisy chained with another amp via the RCA outputs. The control along with the clean signal and efficient reproduction make this amp a great anchor for any high power system!

Impulse buy may be a keeper
This is by far the largest and heaviest and most expensive piece of equipment I may ever own, at least value-wise, cause at 190.75 (after tax) I practically robbed sonic.
This is a first impressions review as I lack the resources to install and subsequently use this amp, I will post another once installed and slamming. I've always thought of powerbass as a lower end audio company... After seeing this beauty, I clearly misjudged, however I do feel like I cheated on NVX, being a huge fan of NVX, after I repair the damage done to my credit card (minimum wage FTW) I'll probably pop in the VCW subs and listen to this baby slam and thank Sonic and God for this incredible deal on such a marvelous pieces of creation. I don't do any flashy lights or sporty looking amps, I like the ones that look sleek and professional and exactly like this.

Awesome amp!!!!
Dude I honestly didn't think this amp would be as good as it is but it powers 2 of my subwoofers down to 2 ohms without a sweat! Before this I was running a 300 dollar amp that burnt up so I figured why not try something different so ordered this up, popped it in and my subs are louder than I've ever heard them before. My buddy is going to get one too with a similiar setup and we cant wait to put his in with a bandpass box to see how it sounds. On mine I have the battery upgraded a little and thats it but i dont see any lights dimming or electrical issues even though its rated for 1200 watts. If you dont want to spend too much on an amp but need it to dump power this is the best one ive used to date. A++++++

that name is not a misnomer, I have it bridged and wired at 1 ohm and my Rockford subs are thumpin' like a parked car in a dark alley on GTA (only gamers get the reference)
