Get FAST answers from customers ASK a Question See questions answers
The KICKER CompVR has evolved into one of the hottest and most popular subwoofers on the market today. This is because it uses advanced KICKER technology to provide incredible sounding bass, while keeping the price affordable for everyone! The CVR's top-plate design, strong dual voice coils, and overall motor structure allow the sub to handle more power and withstand more abuse. The ribbed Santoprene surround adds strength and offers a new level of high excursion. The unique, and highly noticeable injection-molded cone completely eliminates flex by incorporating a 360-degree back bracing and aluminized coating. On the back there are spring-loaded push terminals to provide a fast and very secure install.
KICKER's CompVR subwoofer offers features beyond any other woofer in its class. It has consistently been the industry standard in sound, performance and price.

Subwoofer Specifications
Efficiency (1w/1m) is not an accurate indicator of a subwoofer's output capability and should not be used as a comparison to other speakers or subwoofers to determine which one is "louder".
Round/Circle: This is the typical and common subwoofer design. They have a round cone and are a circle in design.
Square: These woofers are able to achieve a greater cone area in a smaller space. Because of the greater surface area, some square subwoofers will be louder than a round subwoofer of the same size.
Recommended Enclosure Specifications
Sealed: These enclosures completely enclose the air inside the box. These boxes produce a tight bass.
Ported/Vented: These enclosures have a slot of air to escape from the box. The result is a sound that has more "boom".
Bandpass: These are a combination of both sealed and ported enclosures. They can be very efficient, but require tuning for the best response.

all i haft to say is WOW!. these are defiantly not the biggest subs out there but they sure sound loud, clear and don't distort at all. i have honestly beat the sh*t out of these subs for years and they still hit like the first day. i have been running them on a kenwood 1800 watt monoblock, btw thats 100 more watts that they are rated for. other subs would blow up but these cvrs keep hitting.
overall and amazing value and an amazing subwoofer.

So after blowing through some mtx systems i decided to just go with kicker to see how they put up to mtx. I found that kicker was very safe and very hard to blow. I pushed as much sound out of them as i could and they still sound perfect. I would def recommend this product for is value durability and the performance.

This sub is incredible! I only put one ten in the back of my truck and it hits harder than my buddies two ten inch rockford fosgates. This sub will definitely not let you down. I’ve got it bridged up to a Sony 1000w amp and it cranks! Absolutely the way to go. Hits all the highs and lows that other subs don’t pick up and everyone I know is jealous and planning on switching out their subs for a set of these bad boys. Hope this review helped thanks.

these subs are straight up amazing, they sound good and pound very hard. i have two of these in a sealed box (so their size doesn't interfere with ability to reach low tones) connected to a phoenix rival 1600 w max amp and they take every bit of the power with ease. people are easily deceived by their size, and often blow them off. but they usually end up blowing their two 12s out of the water. insane. highly recommended.

These subs are perfect if you have a limited amount of space. I have a regular cab pickup and I can barely fit a truck box behind my bench seat. I managed to get two CompVR's back there and wired to a Kenwood KAC-9401D amp and I made a great investment. I had some old (and I mean old) SVC subs and I needed to update my system. I needed something that can handle power, move a lot of air for it size, and can last for quite some time and the Kicker CompVR's are what I chose. Also, great job Sonic Electronix on the fast shipping! I live in Oregon and I received everything within 2 days, with free shipping!

I have two of these in my car and they hit so hard that my rear view mirror didn't even last a day. They are also very durable and they are very well priced too.

I bought this sub over a year ago and I first was using a homemade box and it sounded horrible, then i upgraded to a vented sound ordanence box with the correctly matched volumes and it is amazing! I'm using a Boss PH2.800 amp which is only giving it about 250 watts and my car shakes! Definatly buying Kicker again just might get a 12 or 15 inch next time. however I would also recommend getting the dual 4 ohm voice coil, using the 2 ohm is a little limiting depending on the rest of your setup

I have 2 of these running off a 700 watt amp. At first they hit very awkwardly but after about a month they broke in and they hit great. I have them in the 2T10-1.2 sonic box in a sigle cab s-10. The cubic feet is nearly perfect for these subs i totally recommend. And just to let you know the volume of Boom these have, i got pulled over today by a cop...he came up to my window and he asked me if i had 2 12's, i told him what i have and he told me that he heard me more than 500ft away. Success :]

Have 2 of them hooked up to a Kenwood KAC amp and they are both getting 250 rms each. I have them in small sealed boxes with polyfill behind the seat of my 1993 Dodge Ram D150. I have the gain turned up all the way and i have the bass boost set at 8 and they are just badass. I can turn them up all the way and stand in the bed of my pickup and get a foot message. They sound good and hit good and ive had them for about a week and they are starting to break in and getting even better. I would defenetely recomend these.
