Incredible subwoofer
I own the DC level 2 10 M2 which is the same subwoofer as this one. Sonic just has the name wrong on this one. Anyways, this thing is perfect. This sub can get as loud as you could ever want or it can be quiet and just there to enhance the music. Turn this thing all the way up and there is absolutely no distortion. The sub just hits every beat and provides one of the best sounding subs I've ever heard. This thing is so loud, people can hear it from 3 blocks away! Or on the flip side, it can be so quiet that it can be only heard inside my car.
I have it running on a 500watt rf amp and inside a .77 cu ft sealed enclosure. Since my sealed enclosure is quite a bit larger than recommenced, I'd be a little scared to see what the recommended box sounds like. The sub is already loud enough and sounds great while doing so. I don't know how it could get any better.
But anyways, if you want a sub that is on the same performance and sound quality level as a jl W6 or w7 for a 1/4 of the cost, then get this sub! You will not regret this subwoofer!
