Great Bang For The Buck!
The Jensen VM8013HD is the perfect Motorhome Head-Unit, with all it connections, there is so much you can do, and of course the built in HD Radio Tuner is a big plus. On other units, and I might add more expensive units at that they are only HD Ready. The Camera In-Put was a must, just put our Motorhome in reverse and what ever is behind me is on the 3.5 TFT Screen in Mirror Image Mode. I installed a Security Camera from Harbor Freight for $29.99 with Night-Vision. I also love the Sub-Woofer Control. I might also add the built-in DVD Player does not skip, Video feed goes to a 15.4 LCD Flip-Down Screen, gives my Wife & DaughterMovie to watch while I'm driving. I know, I cheated, I hooked the Parking Brake Wire to a Solid Ground, I did get this for a Motorhome, the only time my eyes go to the 3.5 Screen is when I'm backing-up, I keep my eyes on the road, thats my Family on-board. But if you are easily distracted, do connect to the Parking Brake. This my second Jensen HD Unit, like the first, it delivers. Also a big thanks to Sonic Electronix for selling it at a great price.

Top of the line !
I recently purchased this HD stereo unit from Jensen , and i wasn't disappointed. First of all, the price was a steal. At 200 $ I can guarantee that you wont find a cheaper price anywhere else, I Already tried. The free shipping wasn't bad either. I owned the previous version of this model the ( VM8012 ) for almost two years now, and although it stood the test of electronic time, i wanted to get into some HD radio ! This unit , the VM8013HD came with all the necessities to get your radio hooked up without the need to pay 100$ in installation fees. although not necessary for an easy install, but If you have the previous model, then all you have to do is swap , and plug in the new cords, and your good to go. very easy, and i never change a car radio before in my life. Its definitely is a big improvement in the looks department, the smoked Grey case is easy to look at, and it feels heavy, as if it wasn't poorly made. When turning the unit on, i notice that load times where very fast, on average, it takes a second or less to load the media. I also love that unlike the previous model, this radio also saves your place, when your watching a movie or a show, and you have to turn your car off for a while, when you start the player back up, boom ! your right where you left off at. The radio also has HD already built right in, meaning you automatically pick up your cities clean, crisp, and static free HD radio stations. another plus, is that it reads the artist, and tile of the song right on the screen. I love this feature. The sound quality is awesome, it enhanced my Sony speakers, they sound way better now. It comes with an external usb slot built right in the detachable face, meaning you just put some songs, or movies on your flash drive, plug it into the radio, and you can play them back on the screen. All versions of i pods are compatible with the unit, or any other external mp3 - Cd player. Although it takes some getting used too, The remote feels good, and you can control everything from the remote, extending the life of the buttons on actual radio. Overall i'm am pleased with how Jensen stepped up and made a very nice radio, but at an affordable price. If your looking for a elegant, top of the line radio that wont break the bank, then this radio is for you. I can go on and on about how much i love this radio, but all this talk has made me wanna go play around with it again : ) I hope my review was helpful , and If you are thinking about getting this radio, get it! its worth every penny. enjoy.

Good for the Price
I have had this installed for 2 weeks now. Pros are it performs very well for sound. A great upgrade from the factory Nissan unit. It is very bassy in sound. Made stock speakers sound like warp paper at high volume mid bass. I had to adjust down(-) so my doors don't rattle. Con: Jensen shortchanged on the search and display, and could have made it scrolling or changeable instead of cutting off the Titles. Although it it will show whats playing at the bottom of the display.I loaded 4.7 gig DVD with music wma format. so 1500 songs takes some time to search as it does not search by folder (10 songs at a time) and can't read a containing folder*, unless it has a song in it. But at least I now carry all 60 gigs of my music collection on 14 DVD's. The load time is not bad for this large of a disc. No worse that any home DVD. Remembers where it was at after engine shut down. I would't suggest anything larger than 8 gig USB. (would take to long to search) SD card limited to 2 gig. 1.(this unit was designed in 2007). 2.(use fat sorter to create playlist)Tried the iPod controller. It didn't work with the one that I have although your probably better off just using the controls on the Ipod itself and plugging into auxllary port. It would be faster.
Plays movie DVD studio or DVDR (I now rock to Poison Concert and can watch on screen) small but nice screen good color. (only needed to ground ebrake wire). HD Radio great sound displays station and Song. This was one of the biggest reason I purchased this Unit. The display can be seen in bright sunlight, dimmer button on front nice for nighttime. I installed it myself with supplied kit in 2007 Nissan Frontier very simple. Overall good unit for the price.
* Read manual on folder heirarchies. When will car radio manufactures start supporting portatble USB hard drives and NTFS!!! AGHHH!!!!

Great radio
I have this radio on board my boat. It's sounds great and has all the bells and whistles like the DVD player runs the TV with the sound coming out of my stereo speakers. MP3 input on the face lets me play Pandora music through my Blackberry!
Dimmer shuts off screen light, great for night sailing.
