The DS Series 6x8 2-ways add the depth that's missing from your factory sound. Neatly tucked away behind your factory grilles, the DSC6804s make the most of the DS series' technology and your tunes. A zero-protrusion PEI tweeter gives your highs the crispness your factory speakers just couldn't muster and the woofer takes care of the rest.
Since your job's already likely to be easier, take the extra step of adding in some NVX Sound Dampening to keep out the road noise and accentuate the power of these speakers.
These 6x8s really shine when properly powered, built to handle up to 50 watts RMS. If your factory or aftermarket stereo can't put that out, put a little more effort in and add a Kicker DX amp to really push these further.
Stamped steel framework, polypropylene cones with Extended Voice Coil technology and more deliver high-quality sonic satisfaction. The DS series employs high-sensitivity motors to bump your volume up. One Awesome Upgrade
I recently bought these kickers to replace my front stock speakers. I can truly say they sound really good I couldn't wait to install them myself. I will go back on Sonic Electronics website to purchase the baffling material to enhance the sound even more.

The connector allows installation of aftermarket speakers without modifying the factory harness. The only issue I had was one of the wires was loose in the connector.

Awesome product
Bought these for a 02 F150. Just plug in the connector from your truck that connects to factory speaker into these harnesses then into your new speaker. Makes install a breeze.

Metra 72-5600 (2007 Ford Mustang GT Shaker 500)
Purchased to install 2 pairs of Pioneer TS-D6802R in my 2007 Mustang GT with Shaker 500. Made the install easy. Make sure to check the alignment of the conductors when plugging into the car's harness. The pins of the Metra plug kept pushing out of the connector.
Plenty of slack for the install. Zip tie everything down.

Perfect Match for a Ford Fusion 2006 +!
If you have a 6 speaker system with 2 tweets up front you wont be able to connect them with stock harnesses your gonna have to buy some bass blockers and wire them directly to the terminals on the speakers(if your not using a amp because if you are then your obviously in no need of these!)
