Looking for a premium sound system for your Jeep Wrangler JK? Look no further than the Alpine PSS-22WRA. Specifically designed for 2011-2018 Jeep Wrangler JK Unlimited models, this 1200-watt, 9-speaker sound system delivers outstanding sound performance both with the top on or off.
Don't worry about being caught in inclement weather with the top off, as the PSS-22WRA is IP55 rated to withstand rain, wind, and dust. The subwoofer uses rust-resistant hardware and can handle water from off-roading adventures or a quick rinse down.
Alpine's exclusive Dynamic Peak Power (DPP) amplifier technology and 10-inch under-seat subwoofer enclosure deliver excellent sound performance that will turn heads. The PSS-22WRA loads and disperses lower frequency sound from the passenger's foot well area, maximizing bass extension throughout the Jeep for an exceptional audio experience.

(NB located in UK not IL)
This kit has been very well thought out, instructions were a little vague in places but the Alpine install video on YouTube filled in most gaps.
I struggled a little with routing of loom and location of amps as fitting to a RHD JKU (steering wheel and battery located on opposite sides to instructions) but got there in the end.
Made decent time fitting all the speakers and in 3.5 hrs I was testing system prior to running loom and fitting amps, remains part of install took another 4 hrs to suss out but got there in the end.
Tape used on the loom was horrible as had gone all sticky and left residue all over hands etc.
Still need to tweak the sub settings a little to get it perfect, but it’s very close and not looking forward to taking the amps back out to do it so it can wait a week or so.
Sound is a massive step up over the standard kit and although it’s not audiophile quality, it is very listenable and was always going to be a compromise utilising existing speaker locations etc and wedging a sub under the seat.
Although a little overpriced imho it keeps the usability of the Jeep by not intruding into interior space and makes it a much more enjoyable place to spend time...and even sounds good with the Sunrider flipped open.
