The Kicker 51CWQ122 is the 12" Q-Class flagship round subwoofer, specifically engineered to replicate the legendary performance of the Solo-Baric L7 within a traditional circular frame. As the most advanced round driver Kicker has ever developed, the CompQ 12 is an audiophile-grade "SQL" powerhouse that delivers deep, surgical bass without sacrificing massive sound pressure levels. It features an immensely overbuilt motor assembly with a solid, non-vented pole piece that provides high mass for superior thermal cooling and incredibly accurate voice-coil control during extreme excursion.
Technically, the 51CWQ122 is a brute, handling a powerful 1000 Watts RMS (with some legacy ratings at 850W) and utilizing a SoloKon polypropylene cone with a massive Santoprene rubber surround for maximum linearity. Its die-cast aluminum basket ensures the internal components stay perfectly aligned under heavy stress, while the high-capacity Dual 2-Ohm Voice Coil (DVC) terminals allow for easy wiring configurations.
