Stinger SK4241

True 4 gauge amp kit

Stinger makes some really good high quality car audio accessories. All of Stinger's power wire, ground wire, and speaker wire are OFC, oxygen free copper. Stay away from CCA wires.

If you need a good 4 gauge amp kit, I would highly recommend this kit for you.

I installed this 4 gauge kit to a Kenwood KAC-9105D amplifier. This amp kit comes with everything that is said on the description. SonicElectronix does not fool their customers. I have replaced the 150A midi fuse with a stinger 100A midi fuse. The Kenwood KAC-9105D only needed around 90A - 100A.

This 4 gauge kit does not come with the RCA cables. The Stinger SK4641 is another version that comes along with the RCA cable.

WHAT'S GOOD BASSHEADS WORLWIDE!!! I'M WRITING THIS REVIEW TO LET IT BE KNOWN THAT BUSINESS WITH THIS COMPANY IS 100% FANTASTIC!!! JONATHAN WAS NICE & INFORMATIVE AND HE KNOCKED OFF A FEW $$ FROM EVERYTHING I PURCHASED, LITERALLY EVERYTHING!!! VERY HAPPY WITH MY PURCHASES! I REALLY DON'T KNOW WHERE TO BEGIN WITH HOW MUCH QUALITY YOU GET OUT OF THIS KIT. VERY FLEXIBLE WIRE, TRUE OFC AND TRUE 4GA WIRE. THE WIRES THAT THIS SHOP HERE IN CHICAGO RIGGED IT WITH WERE JUST TO GET BY.. AND IT STARTED TO SOUND LIKE CRAP. SO, I DID SOME INVESTIGATING AND WHAT I FOUND WILL MAKE YOU ALL WANT TO PAY YOURSELF TO DO YOUR OWN SYSTEM.. THE WIRE I PULLED OUT OF MY CAR DIDN'T EVEN HAVE A NAME TO IT 1ST OF ALL, THEN IT HAD A 100 AMP FUSE THAT WAS HORRIBLE!!! HAD MY HIFONICS BRUTUS 1100.1 RUNNIN' HOTTER THAN EVER, DISTORTED EVEN @ LOW VOLUME AND THE GROUND WASN'T EVEN GROUNDED RIGHT. NO PAINT WAS SCRAPED OFF THE CHASSIS AREA AND IT WAS JUST ABSOLUTE MESSY. I WON'T MENTION THE SHOP NAME AGAIN. YOU'LL STUMBLE UPON A REVIEW I WROTE EARLIER THIS YEAR GIVING THESE A$$BRAINS HIGH PRAISES FOR THEIR WORK. IT DROPPED MY VOLTAGE ALOT AND EVEN THE WIRES GOT HOT. IT DID WHAT IT COULD FOR A WHILE BUT AFTER A WHILE IT STARTED TO SUCKK!!! NOW, THIS STINGER WIRING KIT, ABSOLUTE DIFFERENT REALM OF CAR AUDIO. INCREASE IN MY BASS, MY VOLTAGE AND OVERALL KEEPS MY SOUND CLEAR AND DISTORTION FREE. VOLTAGE WOULD DROP UNDER 11.9 VOLTS WITH THE OLD ONE NOW IT DOESN'T GO PASS 12.4.. I GOT STOCK ELECTRICAL WITH A OPTIMA YELLOW TOP UNDER THE HOOD. I JUST REPLAED MY OLD KIT WITH THIS AND YEESSSS, IT'S A HUGE DIFFERENCE. SAYIN' ALL THAT TO SAY, PLEASE DON'T HESITATE TO BUY THIS PRODUCT!!! YOU WILL NOT BE DISAPPOINTED!!!

Worth the Price

This kit already had the rivets installed on the power and ground wires for easy attachment. Though look carefully, this kit did not include RCAs even though they were depicted on the packaging. I was lucky in that I did not need them. But for what came in the kit, it is worth the money and reliable. I have had no problems after using my subs for the past two months.

I like the removable fuse holder, but for a bucks more I prefer the 6000 series kit, the 4ga wire is larger.

An amplifier wiring kit that gets the job done

I ran out of power wire and had to hit up a local audio shop to get an extra length. I think these kits should come with 20ft of length, 17ft doesn't seem to be enough.

I have 2006 Honda Civic Si Coupe and I was probably being too careful with running the wire and tucking it away, instead of just going with a straight line to the back of the car.
