Remote Start
Allows a vehicles engine to activate without physical contact from the user. This feature is useful for warming up your vehicles engine and transmission to operational temperatures. In cold climates you can have your interior hot or in warm climates you can cool it down before use. All of this can be done while in the comfort of your home or office.
Keyless Entry
Performs lock and unlock tasks without physical contact with the vehicle. Power door locks can be controlled from several feet away or even within a building using a remote fob. The fob emits a radio frequency that is digitally encoded to prevent frequency stealing so no one can enter into your vehicle without your wireless transmitter.

One less remote and we don't miss it.
I love the fact that we can use the factory remote for all the functions between the oem alarm and this unit. The only con I have would be that my nissan uses two pushes to unlock all doors and for some reason audiovox alarms ( had one installed before this one) just looks for that second pulse, so when you first hit unlock the drivers door unlocks but the alarm does not disarm until the second door pulse. Other than that the unit seams to be rock solid, and I don't expect any problems. Just to let you know this unit was purchased because my old audiovox alarm remote stopped working and my wife hated using one remote to deactivate the alarm and another to operate the sliding doors so this was the best choice with minimal rewiring. A flashlogic Would have been my next choice.
