I have the 9500ix passport and having the power cord run across the dashboard is not only tacky but a new sense. So I decided to get the hardwire kit and I love it. Not only does the radar turn on when the key is on but my dash looks so much better. I will definitely get another one for my other vehicle.

Seamless Install
This Smart cord modernizes the install and use of a radar system. Using the cig lighter is just old school and unsightly now.
I highly recommend this to any buyer who wants a sleek install that allows for the radar unit to come on, and turn off, when the ignition is turned. I have been using these for about 7 years now in various vehicles.
