Kenwood DDX372BT SWEET Stereo

Bought this unit for my service truck, haul a lot and sick of getting in and out 20 times to get the trailer hooked up. Also wanted the hands free phone. I installed myself. EASY if you have common sense and basic 12 electrical skills. Sounds awesome. Have had no complaints with the Bluetooth phone. Was going to get a unit with the NAV but they all want $60.00-$90.00 for updates, well we all know you can buy a Garmin with free lifetime updated for the same price. So I opted for this route. Synced with my android phone 123... I pod also 123.
I also bought the Pyle camera, not bad not great. Has the horizontal lines from the old tv days before cable so I'll give that some time before I decide weather to keep or upgrade.
Only complaint about the stereo is the knob is polished smooth, hard to grip. I do not have steering wheel controls. I'll come up with a solution for that.

Great HU!

Bought this for our 2010 CRV fit perfect sounds great. Installation was a breeze. Don't foget to hook up the blue wire to power the antenna booster it's not clear in the instructions. BT phone works good no problems syncing. Love it!

Not too bad. Wish it had some of the pioneer functions

It works good. WIsh you could turn the screen off and still have music play. It is bright a night some times. Connecting to Iphone sucks. Has issues reading music files. Only 5 band eq. I like the volume knob.

Great product

This radio is way more then what i expected for the cost. Sounds better then my factory radio did. Great having bluetooth and USB now. I aslo added a backup camera works great.

Need to update

The radio works fine after you update the software. You got to go to kenwood support and download the updates on flash drive and then radio will work fine. But before I did those updates I couldn't get my fifth generation ipod touch to connect.

Great product for the price

Does everything i need it to do. Great sound, great contol and customization. Bluetooth and touch screen work great. Easy to use with plenty of features. Has everything but navigation but i use my phone so this radio saves money over the much more expensive radios that do the same thing. Cheapest price i found.

I purchased mine in late 2013 and have had nothing but trouble. The owners manual has no trouble shooting advice and no contact information for either customer service or technical help. I went to their website and got an email address then sent an email stating that the unit had stopped working and that the reset button did nothing to restore life to the unit. Three months later I am still awaiting a response. For the money spent this unit is a piece of junk!!!!!

Nice unit for the money but it has issues with iOS

I bought this unit and it went in fine and is working as advertised. I have an issue that it is incompatible with the Garmin iPhone navigation app. When my iPhone 6Plus is connected to the unit via Lightning cable the Kenwood unit somehow sends a signal to the phone that the car is moving and causes the app to crash.

The unit will also not allow multiple iOS devices to connect via BT at the same time.......for instance play music through an iPad and utilize the phone functions on a separate device for calls.......all in all lots of issues and not what I expected from Kenwood

I will likely be returning the unit under the 60 day return policy
