HX300/1 - Monoblock Class D Full Range Amplifier

Engineered specifically for powersports applications, the HX300/1 monoblock amplifier employs JL Audio's high-speed NexD switching design to pack a serious full-range punch, without straining charging systems. Its tiny, cast aluminum chassis is highly resistant to corrosion, with an IPX6 water-resistance rating, making it perfect for motorcycles, ATV's or other utility vehicles.

With a robust 300W of clean power into a 2-ohm load (14.4V, 1% THD), use one to drive a subwoofer, or grab a pair to deliver stunning output to a subwoofer system or full-range satellites. The HX300/1 also features an adjustable low-pass crossover, a bass boost EQ, variable infrasonic filter and output polarity switch. Its dual-range input section accepts a wide range of input voltage levels, from line-level all the way to high-power speaker level signals. With the addition of an M-RBC-1 remote level control (sold separately), subwoofer output can be directly controlled from the driver's seat

The JL Audio HX300/1 is clearly designed to be as small as possible without sacrificing the quality and performance we all expect from a JL Audio product. At 1.77" x 3.09" x 8.66" the JL Audio HX300/1 is one of the smallest amplifiers on the market. When compared to its small footprint, the engineering is extraordinary considering the amp is equipped with a proper bank of settings - including a 24 dB per octave filter slope - and true full range frequency response (20 Hz - 12,000 Hz) . Putting the 'nerdy' figures aside, and you still have an amplifier that put outs solid modest power for any sized setup - 160 W @ 4Ω , 220 W @ 3Ω , & 300 W @ 2Ω.

NexD Switching Technology

JL Audio have taken the simple fixed PWM approach - found in almost all common amplifiers - and enhanced it with a very high switching frequency: 400 kHz, which is exponentially higher than most Class D Full-range amplifiers. This pushes the amplifier's bandwidth to a much higher frequency than seen before, and still provide minimal distortion and improved efficiency, while keeping typically bulky circuity more compact. Your speakers will reward you with crisp, clear performance. The bottom line is simply great audio: clean, powerful and reliable.

Little Amp, Big Sound

I had high expectations when I bought this amp and it did not disappoint. Installed this bad boy into my 2007 Polaris Ranger with a 10" Kicker CVR and it it bumps. I have a 12" Kicker CVR in my car and the 10" paired with the HX300/1 seems to hit harder that the 12". Very pleased with this amplifier.
