Our power and ground wires are CTA-2015 compliant. At NVX, we are completely transparent with how many wire strands are in each cable, so you know exactly how thick each one is. Long-Lasting Design

Since our wires made with 100% OFC, we want to make sure that they last for a while and won’t corrode over time. That is why all our power/ground wires are silver-tinned, keeping them protected over time and not having to worry about them corroding. Can I use this 1/0 OFC for a 3000W RMS system?

Yes. For a 20ft run, 1/0-gauge OFC is the gold standard for high-power competition builds. It provides the massive current required to keep your voltage from dropping, preventing your amplifiers from clipping or entering protect mode.

Will the white jacket turn yellow over time in an engine bay?

No. The EnvyFlex PVC is UV and heat-stabilized. While it can get dirty, it won't "bake" or yellow. Solution: Use a damp cloth with a mild degreaser to wipe the jacket during maintenance to keep your custom install looking pristine.

How do I properly fuse this 20-foot 1/0-gauge run?

Use a 250A to 300A ANL fuse. Fusing according to the wire's capacity is critical. Always place the fuse holder within 18" of the battery to protect your vehicle's chassis from a fire in the event of a dead short.

The 1/0 wire is too big for my 4-gauge amp. What to do?

Do not trim the copper strands. Instead, use an NVX 1/0 to 4-gauge reducer. This allows you to benefit from the high-current 1/0 wire while cleanly and safely adapting it to fit a smaller amplifier power terminal.

I did a lot of research prior to buying this. I bought this to do the big 3 upgrade, along with an NVX 1/0 amp kit. Considered GP or one of the other well known competition audio businesses but couldn’t pass this up for the price during Black Friday. The quality of the wire is great. Running a 1200 rms mono amp and 200 rms speaker amp get very little gauge dimming on a stock battery and alternator. I know when I upgrade my system to something bigger it’ll handle it no problem too.
