All of our wires are made with 100% Oxygen-Free Copper with NO aluminum blend, unlike some of our competitors. Advantages to OFC include increased conductivity to carry more current to your amplifier, reduced strain on your vehicle’s electrical system, and improved heat absorption. Our power and ground wires are CTA-2015 compliant. At NVX, we are completely transparent with how many wire strands are in each cable, so you know exactly how thick each one is. Long-Lasting Design

Since our wires made with 100% OFC, we want to make sure that they last for a while and won’t corrode over time. That is why all our power/ground wires are silver-tinned, keeping them protected over time and not having to worry about them corroding. Like all of our other wires, the power/ground wires are engineered with our EnvyFlex technology. The outer jacket makes installation an easy process since it allows you to route the wire even in the tightest spots of your vehicle.

Is this real copper or Copper Clad Aluminum (CCA)?

This is 100% Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC). Unlike CCA, it won't corrode or resist current. If your amp is running hot or dropping voltage, switching to this pure copper wire will provide stable power and better performance.

Can I use this wire for my "Big 3" upgrade?

Yes. The silver-tinned coating prevents oxidation, making it ideal for engine bay environments. Replacing thin factory grounds with this 4-gauge wire will stabilize your idling voltage and reduce headlight dimming.

The wire is too thick for my amp terminals. Any solution to this?

Do not trim the copper strands. Instead, use NVX 4-gauge wire ferrules or spade terminals. This ensures all 1,862 strands make contact, preventing high resistance and potential fire hazards from loose, frayed wires.

Is the blue jacket heat resistant for under-hood use?

Yes, the EnvyFlex PVC jacket is rated for high temperatures and is oil/gas resistant. To ensure longevity, use wire loom in high-heat areas. This prevents the insulation from softening or rubbing through against the chassis.

My 1500W amp is clipping. Is 4-gauge enough?

For runs over 15 feet, 4-gauge is best for systems up to 1000W RMS. If you're pushing 1500W+, you are experiencing voltage drop. Solution: Upgrade to NVX 1/0-gauge wire to provide the current your amplifier requires.

NVX 4GA.

NVX is a fairly new company, and so far what I've seen they make quality products at a fair price. I bought the NVX 4GA. to do a second run of 4 gauge, the size of the NVX was slightly larger than average 4GA and more flexible. and the the strands were larger and denser. I'm running 1000 watts rms and have no heating or shorting issues at 16 feet.

Best wire I have bought

I got this because it looked good and it was every thing that was in the pic. This is some good stuff that NVX has made super flex able and easy to cut. I would recommend this wire to people. This is true gauge wire not like some other stuff out there. The only cons were I could not find one that's how good this wire is. I hope that this will help you on getting this wire.

This wire works great!

This wire is good for holding the current it needs to for my system highly recommend it, being that its actual 4 gauge and not fake 4 gauge it helps with light dimming and sound quality a lot!
