I bought these woofers from sonic a few weeks ago so they are still breaking in. It is the first time i have gone with tens (due to space in my new car) and let me tell you, these things slam! Have these hooked up to a boston acoustics gt-28 amp and im feeding each woofer about 500 rms. Like i said, im still breaking these in so i havent maxed them out yet but i can only imagine how good these will sound when they do break in. These subs are very comparable to my previous set up (2 12' alpine type r's). Great value here on sonic! get them while they are this cheap!

One Loud Subwoofer for the price!
This is the first time I have bought this brand and I have to say no worries when it comes to Phoenix Gold. I have heard of them but never owned one before. I just got it today and I'm running it with a MTX Road Thunder RTP251D Class D Mono amp also have a Boss Three Way crossover hooked up to it so I can dial up the bass and lets just say the neighbors don't like me when I play it. I just bought one, but I have to say I might have to buy more. I rated the Durability at 3 Because I just got it and I have never bought this brand before. If you want some serious noise Buy this sub. My MTX Thunder 4500 10" subs hit, but just one of the Phoenix Gold 10" subwoofer would drown them out.
The only thing I would say to some one if they were going to buy this brand, make sure you have a good powerful amp to run it, because no cheap amp will do it for this sub. Just to give you an idea, I have a 2 Fara cap that worked just fine with the old subs but now I need to buy a bigger cap because you watch my charger gauge drop down when this sub hits hard. Still Love MTX, But if you need a sub that hits like a MTX buy this one and if your on a budget. For the price you can't beat it.
