The Kenwood Excelon DNX9140 is the flagship model in Kenwoods 2009 lineup of multimedia headunits. This double din video DVD receiver comes with built-in Parrot Bluetooth and advanced Garmin Navigation as well as integrated voice control, double USB inputs and 3.5mm headphone jack input. To control all of these features the DNX9140 has a 6.95” motorized full color LCD touchscreen display with a reverse tilt mechanism that allows the top of the monitor to tilt forward and eliminate glare. It can be dangerous to reach over and fumble with controls while driving so the integrated easy to use voice control system allows the user to speak commands while keeping hands on the wheel and eyes on the road. Even with all of these features and more, the DNX9140 never sacrifices sound quality which is the most important aspect of any audio system. Three sets of 5V preamp outputs (front, rear and subwoofer), plus one mono center channel output allows the addition of amplifiers to create a true 5.1 surround sound listening experience.
