1200 Watt 12" VS-Series Dual 2-ohm Car Subwoofer
12" VS-Series Subwoofer • Dual 2-ohm Voice Coil • RMS Range: 450 - 600 Watts • Non-Pressed Paper With Woven Carbon Fiber Top • High Excursion Foam Surround • Stamped Steel Basket • Single Nomex Spider
The NVX VS-Series subwoofers pack a massive punch when it comes to bass output. Their subwoofers are designed with a non-pressed paper cone and optimized PP dust cap for accurate response and extreme SPL. The high roll blended foam surround keeps the cone in place and is specially treated to give you maximum excursion. These subwoofers can offer up to 12mm of Xmax.
Each of NVX’s subwoofers is equipped with a 2.5” aluminum voice coil, providing maximum current distribution throughout your entire subwoofer. All VS-Series Subwoofers are also equipped with dual voice coils. Dual voice coil (DVC) subwoofers are popular amongst car audio enthusiasts because of the flexibility they offer. DVC subwoofers give installers more options on the way they wire their subs such as wiring each woofer in either series or in parallel.
What makes NVX VS-Series subwoofers stand out from other subwoofers on the market is the aluminum shorting ring. The ring is a conductive aluminum ring placed in the air gap between the pole piece and the voice coil to reduce inductance. This in turn reduces distortion and allows the subwoofer to accurately play a higher part of the bass spectrum. What this means for you is it provides more power delivery to the voice coils and improve the sound quality of your subwoofer. These features are typically found only in higher-end subwoofers but with our pocket-friendly price point, this makes it more accessible for you.
The NVX VS-Series subwoofer uses a Y30 High-Energy Ferrite Magnet to provide more power to your subwoofers. Their largest subwoofers in this series, the VSW154v2 and VSW152v2, have massive 100oz magnets. Because of this, these 15” subwoofers can handle up to 750W RMS! With all of these elements combined, the VS-Series subwoofers bring deep, rich bass to your vehicle. Hear what all the noise is about today!

This subwoofer is AWESOME! I'm even saying this after trying both the XQW and VCW 12". I love the XQW but it is too big to fit in my Underseat, 1.85 cu ft vented Dodge Ram Fox Acoustics box, so I went with the VCW. I like precision and SQ, and the VCW wasn't responsive enough. It is DEFINITELY an SPL subwoofer and can move massive amounts of air. I was hesitant to try this one since it's a lesser model than those two, but I am SUPER pleased with it's tight response for rock music and it's booming sound for rap and electronic. For it's price it is a contender with models in the $200 price range!

A good woofer for the price. I purchased two of these wich are currently in a sealed enclosure powered by a 1200 watt monoblock wired to a final impedance
Of 2 ohms.. (Pushing 600 watts to each woofer). So far i have no regrets about my purchase.
Sure you can spend alot more on woofers but for my application for my daily driver these are great.

Box is well built. Handles hard knock with no box vibration. Make sure you stuff the box with poly. Makes it sound twice as big

I have 2 Pioneer TS W3003D4 12" subs in this box. I was doubting the airspace but let me tell you, if you want these subs to last, and you want to run them at a true 1200 watts RMS, do yourself a favor and get this enclosure. Any bigger and you might wreck the subwoofer suspension or motors after a bit. The subs are VERY loud in it. I didn't want to deal with the whole prefabricated ported box crap (yet) and I did not want to pay $200 for a nice custom made ported enclosure. Plus, I really hate how ported boxes only allow you to play music a few hertz around tuning frequency. I wanted clean precise bass at all frequencies. Trust me sealed boxes CAN pound, and cleanly. Only thing I would STRONGLY recommend is you dont even use the speaker terminals on the box. I have my 12 gauge subwoofer wires ran through the box via a drilled hole, and into a 2 in 1 power/ground distribution block (1 distribution block for each sub, 4 wires in from sub, 2 wires out to amp), each distribution block has two 8 gauge wires going from it to my subwoofer amp speaker inputs. If you dont want to spend more money, you can just connect some 12 gauge wires straight to your amp through a drilled hole in the box as previously mentioned.
Drill a hole in each chamber, wire the subs with 12 gauge wire to the amp and seal the hole with a hot glue gun, or expanding foam spray and silicone. Let it dry overnight.
That being said, the bass on 2 12s in this box, and my SoundQubed 1200 mono amp is very loud and hits hard. Roof flexes and windshield flexes when I want it to. But of course, if I want very musical bass, this box does it flawlessly aswell. It does it all. Deep bass, low bass that shakes everything hard, and great punchy and "kicky" bass if you like Rock or Electronic music.
