Great Product make the installs easy
Admittedly I am not a pro by any means at audio installation, but this kit literally took all the guess work out of my install. I wanted to install a new JVC KW-V660BT in my 2005 Toyota Sienna XLE to replace the older 86120-AE030 JBL system while still maintaining all the functionality of the steering wheel control, and rear entertainment options. I could have gone for free installation as it was included but I like to do things myself just to ensure it is all done correctly (wires tucked in, wrapped, soldered and shrink wrapped, no dropped or lost screws).
This is the ticket, it was a wire to wire process, they all matched, I followed the install directions connecting the cable assemblies to the JVC, and for every wire it was as easy as finding and connecting the matching one. I was seriously nervous when I turned the key to ACC, but up the new JVC came working flawlessly with steering wheel control and all functions worked as stated.
My next projects will be to replace the sound systems and speakers in my 2010 Toyota Corolla LE, and my 2006 Toyota Tundra, and my StarCraft TravelStar camp trailer. Sonic Electronix will definitely be my goto for these projects, for not only the adapters, but for the systems as well. They delivered on time, with the exact parts required, and I was surprised at how easy it was in the end.
I cannot speak to it over the long term yet, but every indication is that it will continue to work well so I rated it high. If that changes will update my durability rating for the benefit of others.
