This unique design utilizes often-underutilized space to house a powerful 10-inch subwoofer, offering deep, rich bass without sacrificing valuable cargo or passenger space.
Crafted from durable, no-flex 1/4” textured plastic, the Stealth-Pod 40473 is built to withstand the demands of off-road adventures. Its rugged construction ensures that your subwoofer is protected from the elements and cargo, making it an ideal choice for Jeep enthusiasts. The pod's design allows it to swing with your tailgate, maintaining full functionality, and it can even be used in your home stereo system with the included rubber feet.
Installation of the Stealth-Pod 40473 is quick and straightforward. The enclosure easily mounts to the rear wheel wells using the existing hardware for a secure fit, and it’s designed for easy removal—simply pull the wire plug and lift the pod off the hangers using the handle. For certain models, like the 2003-2006 Wranglers, drilling very small holes may be required to mount the hangers, but the correct drill bit is included to facilitate this process. The rest of your audio system continues to work as usual when the pod is removed, with the amplifier sitting idle.
The Stealth-Pod 40473 is compatible with a wide range of 8-inch and even larger 10-inch subwoofers with very large magnets, allowing you to customize your audio experience according to your preferences. Its integrated terminal cups make connecting your subwoofers a breeze, ensuring a clean and professional installation.
