Why should I choose the NVX LVE-DOD-RAMQCCG3-S10S custom loaded enclosure instead of a universal box?

Universal boxes take up the entire floor or require a seat lift. This single 10" enclosure is CNC-engineered to fit the specific passenger-side under-seat cavity of 2002-2018 Ram Quad/Crew Cabs, preserving your factory storage on the other side.

Why should I buy this sealed enclosure instead of a ported version?

The sealed LVE-DOD-RAMQCCG3-S10S provides the tight, accurate bass response required in a compact truck cabin. A ported box would take up much more room and often results in "boomy" sound that overwhelms the small interior space of a Ram.

Will the carpet finish get damaged if liquid is spilled on it?

The automotive carpet is durable, but liquid can seep into the 3/4" MDF and cause warping. To keep your enclosure safe from spills or wet gear, we suggest using an NVX all-weather floor mat to maintain a dry environment for the box.

Will my rear seat functionality be compromised after installing this enclosure?

No, your rear seats will fold and lock as they always have. Because this is a down-firing design, we recommend applying NVX SD126 sound deadening to the truck floor to prevent the sub from vibrating against the metal during heavy bass notes.

Can I add more polyfill inside the enclosure?

Yes, adding polyfill can help the 10" SMW sub respond as if it were in a larger air space. To ensure the best audio performance from this setup, use NVX XIV25 V-Series RCA cables to deliver a high-quality, noise-free signal to your amp.

Will the enclosure get damaged from subwoofer vibrations?

The box is built with high-density MDF and bonded with high-strength adhesive to handle 350W RMS easily. To prevent the unit from shifting on the floor, use the included mounting brackets and consider adding NVX silicone speaker baffles.

Is there an empty or unloaded version of this custom-fit enclosure available so I can install my own subwoofer?

Yes, the VE-DOD-RAMQCCG3-S10S is the unloaded version. It has a 5.5" mounting depth, though we recommend the loaded model as the internal air volume is specifically tuned for the pre-installed NVX shallow-mount subwoofer.
