Large 15" subs have massive "throw." The NVX VCW152v3RC Recone Kit uses integrated flat-braided tinsel leads stitched directly into the spider. This design prevents the leads from slapping the cone or snapping during high-excursion peaks.
This is an air leak. Ensure you apply a full, unbroken bead of CA glue around the dust cap. A properly sealed NVX VCW152v3RC Recone Kit ensures that all air pressure is forced through the cooling vents rather than leaking through the cone face.
Use a generous, even layer of specialized rubber adhesive on both the basket rim and the surround. Because the NVX VCW152v3RC Recone Kit moves so much air, a weak bond will fail; allow a full 24-hour cure time before applying any power.
