This enclosure is custom-molded to fit the deep driver-side trunk well of the Tesla Model 3. It utilizes the "hidden" cavity to provide deep bass without taking up any of your primary flat cargo floor space.
The Model 3 trunk liner varies slightly by year; if the friction fit feels loose, use the included high-strength Velcro strips on the bottom. For a rock-solid mount, secure the provided L-bracket to the vehicle's metal chassis.
Check the seal between the subwoofer's mounting flange and the enclosure face. In the tight Model 3 trunk, any air leak from the terminal cup or a loose mounting screw will be audible as a high-pitched hiss during heavy bass.
Verify that the internal wires are connected to the sub. In the Model 3, ensure your amplifier is getting a signal from the factory premium amp (if equipped) or the front door woofers, and check that your 12V penthouse connection is secure.
No. This BOOST Box is designed to leave the center sub-trunk storage bin fully accessible. Your rear seats will still fold down normally, and you maintain the full width of the upper trunk area for large items.
