Alpine MRD 501 Class D Monoblock Amp
This is a superb powerfull quality class D Digital subwoofer amp, i run 2x 12 Alpine 1222D Type R's parrallel @ 2ohms, the amp @2ohms is Pushing 600W Rms easilly, conservatively rated at 550w Rms @2ohm with a peak of well over 1000w Rms, Very deep and powerfull bass when set up correctly, I use the Amplink ( Kce 510 amplink box cables needed ) with the Alpine 9835R and can control most functions of the amp from the drivers seat with my awsome stereo like P Eq, bass boost, subsonic filter, t correction, etc etc, shows voltage, temperature, amps current usage etc on the 9835R display, so you can keep an eye on your car battery's voltage. You can control upto 8 amps linked together with Alpine Y cables from the 9835R. Very efficient amp runs at around 30 degrees but have seen 40+ when playing loud for extensive periods. The bass is so powerfull it makes my roof flex and vibrates everything in the car. The amp itself has a digital display and control panel, which show the Volts Temp current etc looks relly nice and very usefull. All in all if you looking for a subwoofer amp you cant go wrong with the Mrd 501. Superb
