By utilizing Kicker’s iconic square-sub technology, the PL7TDF12 provides up to 20% more surface area than a traditional round sub, allowing it to move more air and create deeper, louder bass from a remarkably slim cabinet. The down-firing design serves a dual purpose: it provides a layer of physical protection for the subwoofer cone and uses the vehicle's floor to naturally load the bass, resulting in a richer, more immersive low-end "Sound Experience".
