Introducing the newest line of Kicker amplifiers, the IX Series. For the first time ever in Kicker history, they have entered the world of full range Class D technology. The amplifiers have been carefully designed and engineered with the incredible attention to detail, intense research and development, as well as proprietary Kicker components that only Kicker amplifiers are made with. The result is a dependable and highly efficient Class D amplifier that can produce an enormous amount of power. The Kicker IX amplifiers also feature the smallest amp chassis that Kicker has ever manufactured. The compact size enables the amplifier to fit in the smallest compartments of the vehicle. These amps are so small that some installers have been able to put these amplifiers inside of a glove compartment! The amps are so efficient that they are able to run all day long with little current draw and very little heat generated. Even though the heat sink is less then 10" in length, the amps still are barely warm to the touch after hours of intense use. Kicker makes the choice easy. For a high-powered, highly efficient, and compact amplifier, choose the Kicker IX amplifiers.
When it comes to powering a subwoofer, there is no replacement for real power. The Kicker IX1000.1 is a single channel amplifier that will produce enough power for just about any mid-level car audio subwoofer. Inside the small chassis is a powerful amplifier that can produce 1000 watts of true Kicker power. The CEA-2006 compliance ensures that you are receiving at least the power ratings that Kicker lists here. Just like all other Kicker amplifiers, the ratings here are always exceeded, so you can be confidant that your system can have over 1000 watts of genuine, clean power. The efficiency of the 2011 IX amplifier keeps this amplifier running cool all day long with little strain on factory electrical systems. For those that desire to have a high-end audio system in their car, this monoblock IX amplifier is perfect for the installation. The small footprint of this amplifier makes installation easy because it can fit just about anywhere you want to put it. Matched perfectly with the Kicker CompVX subwoofers or the CompVR subs, the Kicker IX1000.1 is an incredible Class D monoblock amplifier with high power output.
Kicker has manufactured a new Fail-Safe Integration (FIT) technology into all of their amplifiers. The FIT technology uses isolated differential inputs in order to reject noise or electrical interferences, caused by engines, alternators or any other audio or video component throughout your vehicle. The differential inputs will use a muting circuit that will block out any additional noise that may stream down the line. The FIT technology will help created the cleanest and purest sound possible for any audio system. The Kicker FIT technology is setting the standard for high quality sound.

powerful
Just bought this and installed it over the weekend. I have one Pioneer 12" pro running 4Ohm.
The amp is h quality power. I can only imagine what it's going small, light and sleek looking. The install was easy and the amp is extremely powerful. I have the bass boost halfway, the gain halfway and the crossover is around 160Hz. I'm still adjusting it to my taste but this thing is making my car fall apart, it gives me plenty of high to be like with the second sub, I'm almost scared.

Great sound, but it died.... within a week
Had 2 of these babies hooked up to 2 solobaric L7 15s, and within a week, it just stopped working. Currently trying to get this mess sorted out, but while it was connected, it sounded amazing!

Bad azz amp for a lil fella
Awesome amp..very clean power,bass knob and plays hard and dont get hot but theres one thing it pulls alot of amps so have a good alternator and at least a capacitor
