Introducing the newest line of Kicker amplifiers, the IX Series. For the first time ever in Kicker history, they have entered the world of full range Class D technology. The amplifiers have been carefully designed and engineered with the incredible attention to detail, intense research and development, as well as proprietary Kicker components that only Kicker amplifiers are made with. The result is a dependable and highly efficient Class D amplifier that can produce an enormous amount of power. The Kicker IX amplifiers also feature the smallest amp chassis that Kicker has ever manufactured. The compact size enables the amplifier to fit in the smallest compartments of the vehicle. These amps are so small that some installers have been able to put these amplifiers inside of a glove compartment! The amps are so efficient that they are able to run all day long with little current draw and very little heat generated. Even though the heat sink is less then 10" in length, the amps still are barely warm to the touch after hours of intense use. Kicker makes the choice easy. 500 Watts of Real Kicker Power
When it comes to powering a subwoofer, there is no replacement for real power. The Kicker IX500.1 is a single channel amplifier that will produce enough power for just about any mid-level car audio subwoofer. Inside the small chassis is a powerful amplifier that can produce 500 watts of true Kicker power. The CEA-2006 compliance ensures that you are receiving at least the power ratings that Kicker lists here. Just like all other Kicker amplifiers, the ratings here are always exceeded, so you can be confidant that your system can have over 500 watts of genuine, clean power. The efficiency of the 2011 IX amplifier keeps this amplifier running cool all day long with little strain on factory electrical systems. For those that desire to have a mid-end audio system in their car, this monoblock IX amplifier is perfect for the installation. The small footprint of this amplifier makes installation easy because it can fit just about anywhere you want to put it. Matched perfectly with the Kicker CompVX subwoofers or the CompVR subs, the Kicker IX500.1 is an incredible Class D monoblock amplifier with high power output.
Kicker Fail Safe Technology (FIT):
Kicker has manufactured a new Fail-Safe Integration (FIT) technology into all of their amplifiers. The FIT technology uses isolated differential inputs in order to reject noise or electrical interferences, caused by engines, alternators or any other audio or video component throughout your vehicle. The differential inputs will use a muting circuit that will block out any additional noise that may stream down the line. The FIT technology will help created the cleanest and purest sound possible for any audio system. The Kicker FIT technology is setting the standard for high quality sound.

Great Amp!
This amp is great! Ran several kicker amps in the past but this by far my favorite. Small footprint and clean install. Plenty of power for my XQW 10". Highly recommend for a single sub install.

Great amp. Keeps cool
I have this amp running two Kicker Solobaric L7 8". I drives them extremely hard. I have the amp mounted in the trunk, between the outer sheet metal of the car and an inner piece of sheet metal. It is mounted on a custom metal bracket completely behind the finished carpet part of the trunk, with absolutely no airflow. As a test, I played my music much louder than I would normally listen for over an hour. I can remove a small plastic plug in the trunk and feel the amp with my finger. To my surprise, it was completely cool to the touch. No heat generated at all. I like the built in crossover and the ease of using it with either high or low level inputs. You will either need to purchase or build an adapter of you are going to use the speaker level inputs. The only complaint I have with the amp is the remote. It is quite large and wide, making it almost impossible to disassemble and custom mount in your dash. The Kicker CX amplifiers have a remote half the size that is easily taken apart and mounted in a knockout panel on the dash. Overall, I love this amp and would recommend it. Just be sure you are ok mounting the remote under the dash in the supplied housing.

Well Worth the Money
I've owned this amp for 6-months and would recommend it to anyone who is looking for straight raw clean power. No matter how long I run the amp it never gets hot. I am pushing 1-15" Kicker CVR sub in a vented competition style box with a 5-farad capacitor to pull juice off of when I'm pouring on the bass heavy. It hits so hard it makes my vision blur when riding around town. I love feeling the bass beating in my captain's chairs up front too! Definitely one of the clearest sounding sub amps I've ever heard! My next upgrade will be the Kicker IX1000.1
