Mandatory for good quality sound
I am not a fan of hip hop, and always thought that it would be ridiculous to put a sub in my Camry in order to listen to jazz. Prior to installing this sub, I added a small amp (110W) and a pair of Pioneer 9" *6". It was a major improvement, but it didn't produce enough loudness for listening during a noisy highway drive. Not only this 10" sub solved the problem, the overall sound is much colorful and complete. I can finally hear the double-bass solos which before sounded like a silent part of the song.
If you like to listen to jazz or blues, this is a mandatory addition. The enclosure is heavy and well sealed, and produces clear and tight bass. The subwoofer itself comes in a separate box, and I had to solder the wires from the speaker to the box myself, but it doesn't require much work to install it. If you plan to use only one sub (like I did), make sure that your amp is bridgeable and can mix both channels into one (mono), or connect a Y adapter to the amp.

an exellent sub! for the price
this sub is exellent and very powerfull the bass is clean and deep!! no distorsion on!, my personal recomendation with this sub is, a lot of people is talking about this sub and say "THIS SUB IS CHEAP, HAS LOW POWER HANDLING. ETC.ETC." of course. your real power handling is 300w rms not 1100 like box say. if you take one of this extremely powerfull amp around like, rockfor, presicion power Etc you will to kill not only this sub. i recomend you an sony xmds 1600p5 mono amp. i have 2 xs-101p5 and this amp in my VW PASST 1993 hit so hard something hurt "and for sure my friend YOU WILL NOT BEE DESAPOINTED WITH THE CLEAN AND POWERFULL BASS" of one pair of this sub GIVE A TRY!! for the price is an exellent choise!!!
