Ultra high End sound
I have two of the 10" single coil X-types in a home-built box in the back of my wrangler. They sound so clear. You can hear the bass player strum the strings. Extremely focused sound with nearly little distortion. Even at high volumes. This is a SQ sub designed for sealed enclosures. If you want pounding SPL, this is NOT your subwoofer. If you want theater-like accuracy in a bass driver then this is your baby!

One of the best for sq and spl
I have owned 2 of these for three months, and let me tell you these are great. They are great for sound quality and spl, and I only have them in a sealed box with .66 cu.ft. a camber on a hifonics brutus 2000 class d amp and they make my windows shake and tickle my throat and nose, cant wait to get em in a ported box. These are a great buy, I recommend them to anybody who wants a great sub that sound as good as the great "JL AUDIO".
