Great sub!

Love RF! This 8" under seat sub was perfect for my scion xb under the passenger seat. Previously had a Pyle 8" tube sub in the car and this sub works just as well if not better for bass response(though the quality of the sound is obviously better).

Great for Head Unit powered speakers

I installed this under the rear seat of my friend's 1500 Silverado. It was installed along with a Pioneer HU and new Polk Components/Coaxials in the doors. This little sub system is an amazing addition. I actually had to turn it off to make sure it was working because it was so well integrated. 150W RMS is perfect for an application like this (in-cabin/underseat).

I just had a chance to road tune everything on a 2.5 hour road trip, and at every volume, even with the windows down, this thing could be felt and heard.

As long as you don't go in expecting to feel 2-12's on 1000 Watts, this thing can't be beat. I've always been wary of slim subs, especially prefabbed/powered ones. I've always been a Rockford fan, and after seeing how much room we had to work with, I don't thnk I could have built anything better, especially for the price, and gotten these results.

I was surprise and very please it pack a good sound of bass and take up very little space in my SUV I am thinking about purchasing another one because I went from to Rockford Fosgate 12 to this and I am please I got my trunk space back

Great quality product for the perfect price

It's a ultra slim amplified subwoofer. I installed it under my driver's seat, and works great. It has a great sound quality, the bass is nice and sharp, and it comes with a volume controller, which it makes it perfect. Easy to install, and it comes with all the cables needed.

Great for small trucks

This sub mounts perfectly behind the seat. I'm upgrading my HU, speakers, with a jl amp. The componet speakers. I won't say which speakers because I'm stupid for paying as much as my home speaker system so I bought one more ps8 for behind each seat. 2 months work into this system and almost ready to add some power to it. I found the ground and fuse terminations on the RF PS8 the absolute worst terminations I have ever seen. Ck yours and give a little tug and see it break free from its connection. My sister who never made a ring terminal connection would have done better. Cut them out and redo them!! I like the size of the sub and 1 behind each seat should give the punch needed.

Bought the Rockford PS8 for a friend's Jeep Liberty. Sounds great and has just enough bass to really do well with sound quality. I would recommend this to my friends and shipping was very next day. Great transaction

Wow!!

I have a compact car(size off a Corolla), I've replaced stock speakers with NVX's 6.5" component set up front and coaxial's in back. Alpine's ktp-445u amp to run the NVX's and the Punch compact subwoofer to compliment. Pioneer avx-h490bs head unit to round out system. THIS THING SOUNDS ALMOST AS GOOD AS MY '17 Nissan Murano Bose system!!(That thing has 14 speakers and BUMPS!) Your not getting the best low-low's but for the size of it, Rockford NAILED IT!! This combination system drowns out road noise of my 45 min commute(So Worth THE MONEY) BRAVO!!

It's ok.

It sounds ok. Fills some of the lower frequencies. It's not going to knock your socks off or impress your friends, basically just rounds out the system for casual listening.

Great Value....Simple installation

Added this to my Toyota Tundra Ext Cab...was really surprised at how good it sounds....I like tight accurate bass...was a great match for the Fosgate components....if you want competition type bass might wanna go bigger but for my everyday personal truck it sounds awesome
