The PM400X2 is a 400 Watt 2-channel amplifier with high dynamic power using Class-ab technology and a conformal coated pc board designed for motorsport and marine applications. Don't let the small footprint fool you (2.38" x 7.76" x 11.03"), the PM400X2 is packed with industry leading technology. Rockford Fosgate does not simply paint an amplifier white and call it "Marine Grade"; with corrosion resistant stainless steel hardware and two-part epoxy coated circuit boards, these units are designed with the most extreme elements in mind. Regardless if you're driving typical speakers or two subwoofers, the hefty output capability will deliver the right amount of PUNCH that you want wherever you take it!

Centrex and ASA plastic materials are used for their UV radiation resistance and components are tested in accordance with ASTM D4326 testing and certification procedures. Rockford Fosgate moto-marine amplifiers not only have the capabilities you expect a Rockford amp to have, but they have been designed to stand up to the environmental conditions you are likely to subject them to.

Rockford Fosgate’s integrated level setting technology called CLEAN (Calibrated Level Eliminates Audible Noise), utilize simple LED indicators to identify both signal clipping from the audio source and the output level clipping to the speakers.
