Soundstream has adopted the most optimum Class D performance, reliability, and smaller footprint platform for the Rubicon Nano series amplifiers, and present to you Rubicon Nano. At first glance, you’ll notice several key improvements; Rubicon Nano’s signal inputs, power/ground, and speaker connections are all relocated to the leading edge of the chassis for an easier, more attractive install. All pre-amp & crossover options are appropriately located on the top surface, making adjustments after installation conceivable. You might not notice embellishments to the circuit board, including increased power supply & output stage components & Monoblock bridging capability.

I bought this to power a set of 12 inch solo baric L5 at 1 ohm. It will push them hard! I only give them about 1000-1200 watts rms so I don't know if this amp actually does the full 1500 watts. It runs cool so far. Not a bad deal for less than $200. I have never owned Soundstream so only time will tell if it lasts. I wish I could see a dyno of this amp so I know what power to actually expect at 4 2 and 1 ohm. P.S. I don't use the bass knob. I use the bass control on the head unit so I can't vouch for the knob.

I'm not sure how much power it actually puts out.
But it cranks.
I have a 2006 Avalanche with two Soundstream 12s behind my rear seat and two Soundstream 10s under the rear seat.
This one amp at a little less than half on the gain pumps these nicely.
It is worth buying for sure.
