Great Product
Huge Screen but still fits perfectly in my 96 doge ram. The sound and picture are both great! SD works really nice.

Good System
I bought this unit and it is great. I am powering a 15" Kicker and it bumps, videos are clear. It can only use a 2gb sd card to play videos and music, but the usb plug in can play anything.

You can do better for the price
I was pretty happy with the performance of this product, until I turned on the A/C one day and a temperature crack formed across the screen. I returned the unit, and Sonic was kind enough to give me store credit so that I could purchase a different unit.
Theres better units out there for the money. The touch screen interface was extremely vague and ugly, no images or anything, just text with blue background boxes that popped up with very simple controls.
When you have a DVD or something in the flash drive slot and you're playing a video, the "next" button will go to the next VIDEO, instead of the next file. To avoid this you have to hit "stop" twice.. which is somewhat annoying.
It worked fine until it broke. I was somewhat disappointing by the lame interface and what not, but if it hadn't broken I'd still be happily using it.
I wired the video output to a TV in the back of my van, the picture was very clear, even on a 17" screen, audio quality was good. The faceplate style looks really good, the only thing I didn't like about it is that there was no "knob" for the volume, instead there were +- buttons, so you couldn't change the volume very quickly, you had to hold the button down, and it would slowly increase or decrease volume.

One of the most stylist and coolest devices I've seen
I've own the PTID-585ON & PTID-5300, and even though the PTID-5300 stopped working on me after 3 months (The screen died out), I was very please with the overall value and features it offered.
It plays numerous video files such as .avi and all sorts of .mp3&.mp4 audio files.
Unlike it's successor, the PTID-585ON, the PTID-5300 does not have the need to read the SD card every time it is selected. This is a very handy feature that I would have wished was on the PTID-585ON
I think Power Acoustik is the only brand I have seen that provides some very stylish products such as the the motor razor style with its sleek and smooth face play while being capable of playing back various audio and video multi-media formats. This is not anything I have seen being offered by the other bigger known name brands out there.
