The DS Series 6.5" 2-ways add the depth that's missing from your factory sound. Either with stand-out looks or sleepers in your factory grilles, the DSC6504s make the most of the DS series' technology and your tunes. A zero-protrusion PEI tweeter gives your highs the crispness your factory speakers just couldn't muster and the woofer takes care of the rest.
Since your job's already likely to be easier, take the extra step of adding in some NVX Sound Dampening to keep out the road noise and accentuate the power of these speakers.
These 6.5" speakers really shine when properly powered, built to handle up to 60 watts RMS. If your factory or aftermarket stereo can't put that out, put a little more effort in and add a Kicker DX amp to really push these further.
Stamped steel framework, polypropylene cones with Extended Voice Coil technology and more deliver high-quality sonic satisfaction. The DS series employs high-sensitivity motors to bump your volume up. Amazing
So I upgraded my stock speakers in my car think it wasn’t going to make a huge difference from what I was told but when I listened to them they came out amazing to where if I added an amp you wouldn’t even hear my sub which was awesome.

very cheap speakers...maybe too cheap
I bought a pair of Kicker DS65 and installed them in my car. The installation was very simple and easy, and the speakers sound very clear at low to mid volume, but not very good at high volume. One of my speakers just quit working after just 5 months though, and I am not very happy with them at all. I replaced these cheap speakers with the more pricey KS60, and have not had any problems with them so far. In my opinion, invest a little more money and get the KS60; it's worth the extra money you pay.

For the price I couldn't be happier!
I got these for my 93 Corolla, for the back.
The sound output on them is fantastic just running off my Kenwood deck. They don't make much bass but they do make pretty decent midbass to go with the 10 in my trunk. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for cheap pretty balanced sound.
