The PRIME R250X1 amplifier is great mono amplifier in a compact chassis and respectable power output in any sound system. The R250X1 mono output design also makes it great for running a pair of 8" or 10" 4-ohm SVC subwoofers wired in parallel. The included Remote Punch Level Control corrects for any acoustic anomalies in the automobile environment, making certain that bass notes sound deep and rich.
Class-ABAn amplifier topology with the best of both worlds; a Class A preamp and Class B output stage. Class A topologies area great for sound quality but can require alot of current. Class B designs are great for power delivery. Amplifier designs utilizing a Class A/B topology reaps the benefit of great sound quality in the front-end (preamplifier stage) while delivering great power in the output stages (MOSFET drivers).

Awesome amp
I have had this amp for a few weeks now. I have it installed under the seat of my F-250, paired with a 8" Kicker, in 2-ohm mode. I have not had any problems with this amp what-so-ever. Awesome product, awesome price. It gets a little warm, but is not even close to overheating.
The only fault I found with this amp is the inability to switch between low pass/high pass.

Great Value Amp
I purchased the Rockford Fosgate R250-1D amp because of its small size. Have it hooked to a Pioneer TS-SWX251 shallow mount subwoofer. Sound Quality is excellent. This combo gives the right amount of bass to round out my system. I wanted something simple and compact to fit in the trunk of my Mustang. Good quality and easy to hook up. Sonic Electronix provided fast shipping and a great price. I couldn't be any more happy with my purchase. Thanks Sonic!

Small price tag, small size, big quality and sound
Got this for Christmas from my wife to power up the RF 12" sub/box combo I bought a couple of weeks earlier. Really a great amp. The sub is the Fosgate Prime Stage 2 with dual 4ohm voice coils. The amp comes with a "birth certificate" that list the date of manufacture and the output, this one rated 312 watts! Well over the advertised specs. The amp/sub combo gives great sound, hitting hard and clean. My wife had never heard a system as loud as my new one and she's not big on loud music, but she let me crank it up and she was amazed that she could feel it hit so hard and still sound so clean and accurate.
If you are on a budget, don't hesitate to go with this little amp for just under $100. It delivers big.

Nice amp
Rockford makes nice amps. This is well priced and came well packaged. The only reason for the 4 stars instead of 5 is because the amp is on the larger side for the power output. If you have the space and are on a budget the I recommend it 100%. Also shipping was fast as always.

Just what I needed
I purchased this amp to complete my Rockford Fosgate system. It is a nice amp to add bass if you want to add a subwoofer. Do not over look the phase switch. It is there for a reason. It really does make a difference.

Solid amp
Solid power and quality...what else can I say; its Fosgate. I paired this amp with the R2S 1x10, and the sound quality inside my F150 is excellent. Not too much bass, and not a wimpy compact hideaway 8" unit either. Its just right.
The punch level remote that comes with this amp is great for making sudden adjustments to your bass level without fidgeting with your h/u bass levels or equalizer settings etc. BA little amp with gobs of power.
