Good for low watt systems
Installed these cleanly with supplied stuff from the box into a 66 convertible impala. Used a cheapo sony headunit to power them and the sony had much more power than these needed. Great high range bass, easy to get them to their max power level.

Great Speakers!
I bought these speakers awhile back for my 05 Scion XB. I installed them on the front door. These Clarion speakers are LOUD & CLEAR. You could never go wrong with Clarion. I also bought the matching 5 1/4 inch speakers for my car. That s*** bumps with one 15inch Kicker CVX w/ Soundstream D-Tower 1700 rms amp

good bang for the buck
I bought this as a gift for my friend - Toyota Corolla. The fit was good, diameter and screw alignment-wise. The tweeter stuck out a little more than stock speakers so the original grill didn't fit; but shaving down a little bit of plastic inside the grill solved the problem. These are hooked up to a Pioneer deck, no external amp.
Sound - characteristic of Clarion speakers of clear/bright highs, open mid, moderate bass. A significant upgrade from stock speakers for sure. My friend loves them.
