Great radio.

I love this radio. It looks good. Works good. I especially love the sub out puts. You can add boost and a filter to the sub. Also I love the high pass filters to the speakers. You can really turn it up with no distortion. All in all the best radio I've had.

extremely good radio

I bought this radio about six months ago. It turned my car stereo system, which i thought was kinda junky, into an absolutely beast! The speakers in my car are pretty good speakers but with the factory radio the whole system rotted. I thought this radio in it would help and then eventually i'd put better speakers in but I really haven't had any need to at all. This radio has lots of functionality, easy to use, puts out incredible sound quality and you can read your ipod right off with the USB and charge your ipod at the same time! I highly recommend this radio!

best cd player

This is by far one of the best cd players i have owned very easy to use and install lots of great things about this i have a usb mp3 player and this cd player has usb i plugged it in and it showed and played all the songs full names and sounded amazing has adjustable sub output i would recommend this product to anyone looking for a great cd player

Fantastic Player

Does (nearly) everything I wanted: Plays CDs, MP3, WMP. Has USB input (which remembers where you left off even if you remove the device for long periods of time). Also has AUX input (which I haven't even used). The display is nearly perfect, providing a lot of information. Really, a fantastic stereo.
There are only two drawbacks: 1) the free installation kit that came with this stereo does not account for the faceplate which must pivot down in order to allow a cd to be inserted and/or removed. What this means is that if you install the stereo flush (as the installation kit requires) then it can be difficult to pivot the face of the stereo. I have had to trim the kit and still must "force" the face to pivot down and up. If I had to do it over (and I may soon), I would use the sleve included with the stereo instead of the installation kit and have the stereo extend out of the dash 1/3 to 1/2 of an inch. It may not look quite as "finished" but it would work perfectly.
The other (#2) downside to this player is the equilization controls. They're VERY advanced and not meant to tweak on the fly. As long as you've got time to sit and concentrate on tweaking the sound, you're fine. But I would have been more satisfied with the traditional bass/treble/midrange controls.
All-in-all, I'd buy this stereo again in a heartbeat. Absolutely awesome overall and solidly dependable.

great head unit

this stereo does everything i need, the usb port is great for my mp3 player and the features are very easy to use. i would recommend this product to a friend.

Somewhat disappointing

While AM radio may seem passe, it still has it's uses. This head unit has absolutely no usable AM reception with my vehicles roof mounted "shark fin" antenna. Factory radio was fine. This unit with a standard fender stick does ok, but I'm not drilling a hole in my new car. Can't find an AM antenna amp. As for the iPod control, works with my 5th gen Video and new 3rd gen Touch. One annoying aspect is that you must use the head unit to control and it can't seem to remember it's place in the artist list . Therefore you must start at 'A' every time you want to choose a new album. At best annoying and at worse distracting when you need to pay attention to the road. Pretty display though.

Great Buy

This is an awesome product. A little tricky to install if you have an OnStar interface but rather than that its an overall cool product. I just use my usb cord for my computer to hook my ipod up to it and it sounds really clear. Im about to hook up 2 Kicker L7 15inch Solo barics in my car and new speakers so hopefully it holds up with the rattle. Definitely a sweet deal on the price too.
