The Eclipse ZA1200 monoblock amplifier is an extremely efficient amplifier made specifically for subwoofers. Using Eclipses latest technology, the ZA1200 features ICEpower. Heat is kept low with the digital processors inside the amplifier, resulting in an increased power output. This single channel amp is designed and engineered specifically with the intent to push a subwoofer clearly, efficiently, and without the distortion that other amplifiers produce. The amp is quite small when compared to how much wattage that it is able to produce. At 4 ohm, the Eclipse ZA1200 produces 1000 watts and 1200 watts at 2 ohm. That is more than enough wattage for any mid-level to high-end system. The package includes a bass level remote that allows the user to adjust the bass level from the front seat. This is especially convenient since you do not have to adjust any settings on the amplifier itself. I bought this amp with no idea what i was getting only that it saids it puts out 1200 watts at 2 ohms. Well now that ive heard this amp push my 2 Alpine Type R's i kno that i made a great choice. This amp isnt only a great price, its also small looks nice and comes with a Gain Remote.

The ZA1200 provides all the power I need to bump the two (2) eclipse 10" subs that it powers. I would recommend this amp to everyone.

I would highly recomend this long as you are goin 2 use 4 or 2 ohms cuz this amp is beast. It don't get to hot and doesnt dim headlights like other amps. very efficient. i drive and hour 2 work and it runs fine all the way there and pounding my type r 12's great. the only con i can see is that its not available anymore=(

GREAT!
I have this amp hooked up to two 12 inch alpine type rs running at 1200 watts 2 ohms and and it is RIDICULOUS. There is no distortion what so ever no matter how loud you turn it up and it produces a nice deep rich bass response. Great power for the price.

Good Power for a fair price
I was skeptical at first to buy this amp because i have never used anything eclipse. However the power this thing puts out is CEA-2006 certified and incredibly cheap. So i decided to buy it and I am very happy with it so far, it is pushing my two 12 inch alpine type r's at 4 ohms and runs really cool. The size is great too especially for how much power it puts out.
