Too powerful
If you're going to buy this amp, make sure you know what you're doing. This amp is the same internals as the hifonics 2400W amp just with a smaller current handling system. If you don't know how to tune it right you're going to be blowing subwoofers left right and center. The speaker output has been reading up to 62V (at 1 ohm that is equivelant to 3844W). With the fuses that are in it and over-current protection I was still able to blow my hifonics brutus 1200W Peak subwoofer. Aside from that amazing amp, beautiful power coming from it.

In a slot ported box, BANGS!
I am only running a 300 watt amp to this for now because 1, its winter(freezing temps) cuz I don't wanna over work it and blow it cuz everything is so cold, and 2) its fairly new so I wanna break everything in for the first 6 months but shoot! This thing bangs so hard already I don't even know if I wanna upgrade my amp to the ZX750. This is plenty for me...

I been running the same hifonics amp since 2008 never had any problem with it so when I upgraded the sound system in my truck I went with 2 of these. I would recommend hifonics amps to anyone who want to upgrade without breaking the bank.

HiFonics
For the price this product is well worth it. Big BANG for the BUCK! Completely satisfied and thinking about purchasing more HiFonics products.

Pretty cool amp for a decent price.
I would recommend this to anyone looking for a pretty nice sound system for a little bit cheaper. This amp is the perfect middle ground. It's not so nice as to where it'd break the bank but it's not so cheap that it can't deliver its power ratings. I've had this amp for a little over a year and I'm happy with it. I push two Type R's with it just fine.

Great Sub
I bought this sub almost 2 years ago and its still going great. I have it powered by a Kicker 500.1 (actually rated at 609 watts RMS). I first had it in a 2 cu.ft. sealed box that I built using the proper materials and it sounded failrly good. Response could have been better, volume could have been better, and high notes could have been better, but it hit low end notes really well. So I decided to put it in a 1 cu.ft. box, which I also built and did everything but the size the same. Everything improved (except volume). SQ is great, response is great, it hits really hard, and it has good range. However, if I were to buy this sub again I would port it right away. I'm very pleased that I bought it, but I think a ported box would really show off its SPL potential. If you're going to have a sealed box for response and SQ, you might be better off going with a different sub, and probably not a square one.

Great buy
I just ordered one of these guys and I'm very happy with it. I can't wait to order the second one and I am thinking about adding a third. Great choice for anybody that's trying to beat down the block!

They are loud and take serious abuse
I have 2000 watts rms going to two of these in a ported box I custom built to kicker spl (big ported box) specs. When I turn the bass all the way up for about 30 seconds I can start to smell the subs from the ports. When I play it for more than 45 seconds, I can start to smell them from the front seat. This is only when I am playing it at full volume on very low frequencies. I have done this quite a few times and they still play like new. Keep in mind, I am running these at almost double their rated power and they are still kicking after a full year of this kind of abuse. Remember this is at full volume, which is when nobody including me can even stay in the car for more than 10 seconds. When it is all the way up my vision blurs and breathing becomes a challenge. I have heard many cars with the same amount of power and none have been equal including a soundstream sponsored truck with more power. So far I broke the back wiper off the back of my suv and made the rearview mirror fall. When I played it in the garage some boxes fell 10 feet away and drywall dust fell from the roof. I have the doors moving about a 1/4" with the windows up or down. When I pulled up behind my friend at a stoplight, he knew exactly who it was instantly. I bought mine for $300 for both so these are cheap at $130 each. I highly recommend these subs.
