Sonic Electronix is now carrying Audiobahn's new 2011 amplifiers. The class D series features the same attractive appearance you are used to from Audiobahn with the two included flame fan grilles. The class D series also comes equipped with dual cooling fans that keep the amps temperature at a safe operating level, a high gloss chrome plated finish to add to the eye catching appearance, and a large display voltage meter with blue illumination. A fully functional bass control remote with a blue backlight knob is also included in Audiobahn's new class D series amplifiers. These amplifiers come in either a 2500 watt or a 1500 watt configuration and are both powered by multi-stranded power supply toroids.
Power EfficiencyAudiobahn's series of mono block Class D amplifiers are designed to provide raw power to drive subwoofers. These amplifiers utilized digital switching, an effective method for increasing power from your vehicle’s electrical system. This technology gives Audiobahn’s Class D amplifiers the stability to operate impedances as low as 1 ohm and still remain cool enough to utilize smaller heat sinks and outer chassis.
Dual Cooling FansAudiobahn Class D amplifiers feature dual cooling fans which aid in the increase of airflow to critical components on the circuit board’s surface area. This helps maintain the amplifier’s optimum operating temperature which preserves its longevity and power output. In addition, our Class D amplifiers are designed with chassis exhaust venting and side-rail fins to help eliminate harmful heat from sensitive inner components.
Clipping IndicatorWhen an amplifier is operating outside of its output threshold it can produce square waves or DC current, which can be harmful to subwoofers. This is known as clipping. As a result, all Class D amplifiers from Audiobahn are made with a digital clipping indicator to ensure maximum performance out of your amplifier without sending any damaging signals to your subwoofers.

Best Bang for Your Buck !!
I was a bit skeptical about the claim of 2500 RMS watts with 4 gauge Power & Neg. inputs and 5X30 fuses. I bench clamped it, started @ 13.9volts and it dropped down to @ 11.8 volts @ 1-Ohm load, it put-out 2348 RMS watts before climping. Pretty strong beasty amp. I like how it looks to be built to last. 2-cooling fans & voltage, climping meters. Very power efficient too. I only had 1-XLS power 5100 supplying power to it.
