Kicker Comp VR's are one of my favorites.
I was an MECP certified installer for 5 years, and have installed hundreds of subwoofer systems on all budgets and of all sizes. I have a handful of favorite products based on my experiences with them and how they sound in different vehicles. I also got to see how much people were spending on their audio systems. I saw people spend tons of cash and wind up with something that sounds like crap, and I've put together low budget setups that sound great. After all this, I chose 3 Kicker Comp VR 8" subwoofers for my regular cab pickup truck. Their prices are good, the rubber surrounds last a long time unlike the foam ones that usually only last a couple years. They sound great when installed in a properly designed enclosure AND GIVEN THE FULL AMOUNT OF POWER they are designed for. A sure way to waste money on subwoofers is to under-power them.
Bottom line, one of the best choices for the money and after seeing just about everything, I choose them for my own car. I am not in any way affiliated with Kicker or Stillwater Designs. I do not recieve any compensation for my comments.

pretty sweet and tiny
I have this amp hooked to one 10" Memphis single VC sub. It has nice power and is doing job so far. I was surprised at how small and light it is. The adjustable gain control doesn't have as much control as others I have used, so I set amp with it at mid level to have control either way. RE has made quality products in the past, so I am hoping this is still the case. It's one ohm stable too, in case I want to change setup to get more power out of it. Fits in tight spots nicely.

Dual 8" MDF Enclousre
Great product. Running 2 rockford fosgate p3 subs powered by a kicker zx300.1 amp and they sound amazing in this box. I always have people asking me to show them my system and when I say there just 8's they never believe me. Great overall box, and the build quality is top notch. Recommended to all!

GREAT AMP
I have this amp pushing 2 RE AUDIO 8" subs and let me tell you it has a lot of bass. I have a Ford Ranger regular cab and the amp was perfect size for not having much room. Price is great. Very easy to hook up, a lot of controls to get the right bass sound. Never owned Re Audio before but now will be buying a lot more. I recommend getting one of these bad boys.

Everything you need.
I like the way the RCA cables have the remote power wire connected with the RCAs. Makes install that much quicker when you have 1 wire combo to slip through the tight spots. Nice fuse holder also.
