Phoenix Gold RSd 1200.1 (RSd1200.1)

Absolute masterpiece

i would recommend this to anyone looking for a cheap powerful amp that will last years. I have 1 of these pushing 2 X 12" phoenix gold xmax subs and it gives them a good bashing with excellent sound quality and it hardly ever gets hot.
Don't waste 3 times the money on fosgate and the other popular names they will have a hard time trying to keep up with this bad boy.

great amp

I have this hooked up to one kicker 15 cvx at 2 ohm and it pounds. I had an 800 ems before this one and the rsd 1200 is almost twice as loud.

This Amp hits really hard,I never had a Poenix Gold before,but i've heard of the product and i'm glad I made the switch.

Power Pack Your Buck

Recommend this Amp to anyone who is upgrading or replacing a sub amp. This 1200.1 replaced my JL Audio 500.1 and hits so hard, the back 3 windows of my Escalade look as they are going to pop out. The bass is solid and clean. Pushes my 12" Cerwin Vega (Vmax124) Subs with ease and pumps some serious hitting bass with all types of music. I will be looking forward to the next RSd from Phoenix Gold so I can upgrade to 3 Subs.

One of the best amps I have used!

I have this bad boy pared with a phoenix gold ten RDS104 and you would think I have two twelves in my truck. I did buy a PRECISION POWER PRO104 10 for this amp so we will see witch one I will keep.I have to say the precision power don't sound as good as the other one, but it's not broken in like the other one is.I also upgraded the power and fuse for this amp and it was a good thing because I blew a fuse in my dis block. I really didn't believe it would run like it said on the posting. Well I have to say I was wrong about it and I'm glad I was. I have ran MTX, Rockford,Sony and California Profile,etc, but I would have to say this is on of the best amp I have bought. The only thing bad about the amp is it is big and the power ground and remote are angled down. My point is if you don't have much room like I did it can be a pain to hook the wires up. Oh yea they don't give you any hard ware to mount it witch really isn't a big deal to me. I would had bought bass knob but they don't sell it any more.

If you are looking for some power and you don't want to pay for a name I would go for this. Wait I would tell any one to buy this over Rockford and Kicker. You just can't bet it, plus this amp looks great to. I like how the lights on it are not real bright. You see amps out there that are all flash and no power.

I rated the durability at a three because I just got it, but I really don't think I will have any issues with it. I rated the ease of use at three because of how the power and ground are angled, but if you are using it in a trunk I don't think that would be a problem.

I love this, i was running the phoenix gold octane r 8.0.1 for 5 years and needed to upgrade to something new so i purchased this amp and also the rsd 500.4 and these amps rock, ism running the 1200.1 at 1 ohm for the last number of months trouble free pushing 2 Boston g2 10s and a ppi dcx1244. the bass is head shaking chest vibrating deep. It will be deeper and louder when i pick up another matching set of boston acoustics subs and for the 4 channel. They are powering my sr 60 components front and back and over all sound quality is amazing. everyone i've met and who has heard my stereo is asking what i'm running and how did i get it to be crystal clear with amazing bass that isn't over whelming but hits HARD!!! i love phoenix products. I have been running them for 6 years testing and trying different products and at the moment I am really happy. I also don't know what their new product line is like but i know these are the last of their good reliable products.

POWERHOUSE!!!

I took a chance buying a phoenix gold amp ( I hadn't really heard of them at the time) and I'm absolutely amazed! I bought the amp used and I mistreated it for about 8 months. After acquiring a little knowledge in the car audio world I have the amp tuned correctly and the power/ sound quality is par none! Seriously if you ever have a chance to buy one, DO IT!!
