These definitely allow the speakers I installed these behind to sound their best. They also allowed me to mount my 6x9's in a hole that wasn't a perfect fit for the basket, and not rattle or vibrate excessively.

These are good quality foam, as good as the other brand of baffles for sale on Sonic. Like me you may have to cut out the bottom of these to let your speakers breathe. I needed these for use as rain guards in my doors. I live about 50 miles from Sonic's Louisville, KY warehouse, so when I order from them I usually get my package the next day!
