Good Amp, exceeded my expectations...
I have this amp at full power, hooked up to a MA Audio 12QS sub, and IT BANGS! My friends were like, yea, doesn't look that impressive...but after putting Polyfil in my box and breaking in the sub, everytime they get in my car, they talk like robots lol...very nice amp considering how cheap it is, I have had this thing at full power blaring everyday for about 2 to 3 weeks now and it is still pushin out the watts without overheating...this is by far the best amp I have owned yet. Although, not sure if the sub is underrated or if the amp is overrated, because this is a 1200 watt amp and my sub is rated 600 watts peak, but reguardless of whether its overrated or not, it hasn't failed me yet so I'm happy :)

Extremely Great Value
I've owned Boss amplifiers in the past and never been let down. The D1200M exceeded my expectations again. I use it to supply a Rockford 12" P3 in a bandpass enclosure and even for class D it sounds great! The power this little guy supplies is amazing!

Boss D1200M
I would recommend this amp. I am using it with a stock Bose system to drive a 12" audiobahn sub, nothing fancy. I originally bought this to replace an old 350W amp. The Boss does the job.
I immediately noticed the increase in power, i like the additional sub level control (my old amp didnt have this), plus it looks nice.
I've had no problems with it, installation was easy. No complaints at all.

incorrect impedance
I bought this amp because of the price.I bought it to power a 12" MA that is wired parallel which is actually 1.5 ohms not 2,but I e-mailed Boss Audio and they said that it would not only work fine but that it would produce 610 watts RMS at 1.5 ohms which is perfect for my sub.It does work fine at lower volumes but when you start to get loud the protection circuit keeps kicking the amp off, which SUCKS!! Needless to say I'm disappointed,it wasn't such a good deal after all.A friend has a 10" MA with a 500 watt amp and he's way louder than me.
*** ADMINISTRATOR COMMENT ***
The amplifier states it is stable at 2 ohms minimum. We do not recommend the amp to be ran at 1.5 ohms and that is the reason it is overheating or going into protection.

Ok amp
This is a cheap amp. Works ok. I had to take out the thermal limiter to get it to run at 2 ohms without cutting out at high volumes. For the price, its ok.
