All of our wires are made with 100% Oxygen-Free Copper with NO aluminum blend, unlike some of our competitors. Advantages to OFC include increased conductivity to carry more current to your amplifier, reduced strain on your vehicle’s electrical system, and improved heat absorption. Our power and ground wires are CTA-2015 compliant. At NVX, we are completely transparent with how many wire strands are in each cable, so you know exactly how thick each one is. Our competitors will never be that upfront with you.

Long-Lasting Design

Since our wires made with 100% OFC, we want to make sure that they last for a while and won’t corrode over time. That is why all our power/ground wires are silver-tinned, keeping them protected over time and not having to worry about them corroding. Like all of our other wires, the power/ground wires are engineered with our EnvyFlex technology. The outer jacket makes installation an easy process since it allows you to route the wire even in the tightest spots of your vehicle.

How do I terminate this thick wire for a battery connection?

Use NVX 1/0-gauge ring terminals. For a professional, corrosion-resistant solution, use a hydraulic crimper to secure the terminal to the 4,704 copper strands and seal the end with adhesive-lined heat shrink to prevent moisture from wicking into the wire.

Can I use this 25ft spool for both my power and ground?

No. Most vehicles require 17–22 feet for the positive run alone. Solution: Use this Blue wire for your Positive (+) run and purchase a 5ft or 10ft Black XW0BK spool for your ground. This color-coding is a safety essential to prevent accidental polarity re

What size fuse should I use for a 25-foot 1/0 run?

For a 25-foot run of 1/0 OFC, use a 250-Amp to 300-Amp ANL fuse. Always mount the fuse holder within 18" of the battery. This ensures that if the long wire run ever rubs through the chassis, the fuse blows instantly to prevent a vehicle fire.

Is 1/0 OFC necessary for a 3000W RMS system?
