This dual 12" enclosure is custom-engineered for 2007–2017 Toyota Tundra Double Cabs. Its down-firing, under-seat design provides 1.89 cu. ft. of optimized airspace that universal boxes can't match without blocking passenger legroom.
Ensure the enclosure is bolted tightly to the rear bulkhead. If it still touches, verify your subwoofers are true shallow-mounts. We recommend NVX shallow-mount subwoofers, as their slim profile prevents the surround from rubbing against the seat.
Large dual 12" setups move a lot of air, causing thin metal panels to vibrate. Apply NVX SDK2 Sound Dampening to the back wall of your Tundra before mounting the box to eliminate "metal-on-metal" chatter and improve bass clarity.
With dual 12s in a sealed box, pressure is high. Use the included gasket foam and NVX 12-gauge OFC speaker wire. Predrill your screw holes to avoid cracking the MDF/Fiberglass, ensuring the sub sits perfectly flush against the baffle.
This enclosure is built for shallow-mount drivers only. To avoid the magnet hitting the back of the box, use subs with a depth of 5.0" or less. The NVX VSW124S is an ideal match designed specifically for these tight constraints.
Run your wires through the door sills before placing the heavy enclosure. Using flexible NVX 100% Oxygen-Free Copper (OFC) wire makes it much easier to navigate the tight corners behind the seat without the wire kinking or snapping.
Yes. The LVE-TOY-TUNDCG2-D12S is the pre-loaded equivalent. It features two 12" NVX subwoofers pre-installed and wired to 1-ohm, designed specifically to handle 800W RMS for a true "drop-in" high-power bass solution.
